Greece Community Broadcasting Inc. Presents Sixth Annual Fundraiser to Benefit Jazz90.1 FM
(Rochester, NY) April 12, 2011 — Greece Community Broadcasting Inc. will present Art Loves Jazz 2011. This sixth annual gala fundraising event will benefit Jazz90.1 Thursday May 19, 2011 from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at Artisan Works, located at 565 Blossom Road in Rochester.
This event will feature a live art auction, silent auction, live jazz, great food and access to Artisan Works 60,000-square-foot art gallery and event space with art from around the world. Jazz90.1 is one of the last remaining 24-hour jazz stations in the country, and must raise its annual operating budget through a series of membership campaigns and fundraising events. Jazz90.1 spins straight ahead Jazz including music by the likes of Miles Davis, Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong, Charlie Parker and more.
